Notes from the Artist: (PLEASE READ, THANK YOU!)

  • Communication: all correspondence is done by email (sammakesamess@gmail.com). // Instagram DMs, phone calls and texts aren’t guaranteed a response and may be lost.

  • Turn Around Time depends on each project (full paintings & animations ~2-3 weeks based on work load, smaller projects ~1 week) but mostly depends on response time between artist and client through email.

  • Privacy: All commission work while in-progress will not be shared on social media by the artist for client’s privacy.

  • Rush orders are subject to extra charge, and will be stated in initial emails when discussing your quote.

  • Sizing: All commissions are worked on a general canvas size of 3800x3000px @300dpi (roughly 12.6”x10” in.) and then cropped accordingly, unless specified by client. If a different size is needed for your project, you can specify in an email and I’ll let you know if an extra charge is needed. Any file request over 20” inches will be subject to extra charge of $30-$45.

  • Cancellations happen! Just please let me know ahead of time! All deposits, 25% for noncommercial work, are nonrefundable. Upon the event of a cancelation, all project files will not be sent over unless the charge for all completed work is paid by client. Only then will they receive their files without watermarked.

  • Process Videos: A 1-min process video can be exported from the Procreate File of your commission if requested at a +$10 fee to your final balance. Must be requested before project commences.

  • Printing: I do not provide printing - at all. All I can do is provide recommendations to where previous clients have gotten their commissions printed, but I personally have not tried them (i.e photo prints, poster blow ups, mural decals, framing). If you’re planning on printing please let me know ahead of time! Your commission may pixelate if blown up too large for print, or may have to be cropped if it wasn’t drawn in the correct proportion of a common frame.

  • Discounts: Patrons who support me through Patreon and have access to my monthly 10% off shop code can apply their code to their commission as well! Your name and email will be cross-referenced with my Patreon list to confirm identity and will be applied to your balance!

GENERAL COMISSION TYPES:

#1 ~ LINEART SKETCH: CHARACTER

  • Price: $50-$65 for one sketched out lineart piece (no revisions) Usually copied from reference (price based on full body vs waist up or face) & number of characters.

  • no background included (to add is an extra charge of +$15 depending on detail)

  • no color (to add is an extra charge of +$15)

  • Minimal 1-2 tone b/w shading included

  • Limit of 1-2 characters (to add more is an extra charge of $15-$20 per person)

  • Turn Around Time: ~5-7 Days

#2 ~ LINEART SKETCH: LOCATION

  • Price: $45-$55 for one sketched out lineart piece (no revisions) Drawn from reference by client// no characters.

  • limited no-detail rough character figures for crowd can be included or omitted

  • Minimal 1-2 tone shading included (yellow lighting optional)

  • Turn Around Time: ~1 week

#3 ~ FULL PAINTING (✨most popular✨)

  • Price: $150-$190 for full painting package

  • Includes 3 revisions (composition revision, final lineart revision, and color revision). Additional revision are subject to extra charge.

  • Includes Full Color, Cleaned up Lining & BG

  • Limit of 1-2 detail characters (to add more is an extra charge of $15-$20 per person)

  • Drawn from references by client // The more references the better! These help with picking a background, posing, and most of all color! We can work off replicating one image, or make your own custom painting with different references! (finalized in beginning of process)

  • Turn Around Time: ~1-3 Weeks

#4 ~SINGLE COMIC PAGE

  • Price: $180-$250 for a full single comic page of 2-4 panels. Price can vary based on details per panel (#of people/ backgrounds).

  • done on a base canvas of 3800x3200px. @300 dpi. unless specified. (Above 20” in will incur extra charge.)

  • References and instructions must be heavily provided at start of project.

  • Includes three revisions: one for composition/boarding of overall page, one for line art, and one for color and lighting. Any additional revisions can be subject to extra charge

  • Dialogue not included. (+$15 fee for Add on)

  • Turn Around Time: ~3-5 Weeks

#5 ~PET PORTRAITS

  • Price: $70-$125 for full painting pet package; Done on a 3800x3200px canvas

  • Includes 3 revisions (composition revision, final line art revision, and shading revision). Additional revisions are subject to extra charge.

  • 1 pet limit, with simple 1 tone shading or full color. Additional pets in image are +$15-$25.

  • Based directly off reference pictures!

  • Turn Around Time: ~1-2 Weeks

#6 ~ AVATAR ICON

  • Price: $50 for full painting avatar package; Done on a 1600x1600px @260dpi canvas. (roughly 4x4”in"/ not for printing).

  • Includes 3 revisions (composition revision, final lineart revision, and color revision). Additional revisions are subject to extra charge.

  • 1 character or image limit, with simple BG color or pattern included. Characters can be bust/chest up. (no full body or waist up).

  • Detailed Background (w/photo ref) is +$15.

  • references recommended for characters and color palette

  • Turn Around Time: ~1-2 Weeks

#7 ~ SOLO CHARACTER DRAWING

  • Price: $65-80 for full body drawing.

  • Includes 3 revisions (pose sketch, final lineart revision, and color revision). Additional revisions are subject to extra charge.

  • Includes Full Color, Cleaned up Lining

  • Transparent BG, or one solid color BG

  • Limit of 1 character

  • Drawn directly from 1 photo reference.

  • Turn Around Time: ~1-2 Weeks

CONCEPT ART COMISSIONS:

#8 ~EXPRESSION SHEETS

  • Price: $50-$75 for a sheet of 6-8 lineart expressions bust-up; done on a case 3800x3200px canvas.

  • reference character must be provided. This is not a character design commission.

  • Includes two revisions: one for lineart, one for color and lighting.

  • Turn Around Time: ~2-3 Weeks

#9 ~CHARACTER SHEETS

  • Price: $90-130 for a full basic character turnaround sheet or personality sheet; done on a 3800x3200px canvas. Price varies on types of poses needed.

  • reference character must be provided. This is not a character design commission.

  • Includes three revisions: one for pose sketches, one for lineart, and one for color and lighting.

  • Turn Around Time: ~2-3 Weeks

ANIMATION COMISSION TYPES:

#10 ~ ANIMATED GIF (WOBBLY-STILL)

  • Price: $35-$50 for a 5-frame looping gif of an image slightly moving (no big key movements); done on a 3000x3000px canvas; references recommended for color and drawing.

  • Includes one revision for sketch composition and color; animation not to be revised.

  • no BG or shading included// No Characters

  • Can be exported to you as a gif. and as a 15second mp4.

  • Turn Around Time: ~2-3 Weeks

#11 ~ANIMATED GIF (MOVING IMAGE)

  • Price: $50-$70 for a 10-frame looping gif of an image with a simple action; done on a 2500x2500px canvas; references recommended for color and drawing.

  • Includes two revisions: (one for sketch composition with color, one for animation pass). Additional revisions subject to min. $20 extra charge.

  • no BG & no characters

  • Can be exported to you as a gif. and as a 15second mp4.

  • Turn Around Time: ~2-3 Weeks

#12 ~MULTIPLE OUTFITS GIF

  • Price: $150 base/ +$15 for each outfit for a frame looping gif of multiple outfits off one pose

  • done on a base canvas of 3800x3000px; references recommended for color and drawing.

  • Includes background.

  • Includes three revisions: (one for sketch composition, one for lineart, and one for color/lighting. Additional revisions subject to extra charge.

  • No multiple characters

  • Can be exported to you as a gif. and as a 15second mp4.

  • Turn Around Time: ~2-3 Weeks

Artist’s Rights

Commercial Release: You may not use my work for commercial use in any way or form if not authorized. Commercially used commissions are subject to an additional fee, varying with each individual case. For more details, please contact for more information.

Identity: If you wish to remain anonymous, there is no additional fee.

Complete Ownership: If art is requested to remain completely private (meaning it is completely yours and I am unable to use for Portfolio use, social media posts, etc) then you will be charged 30% extra of the complete commission costs.

Alterations/ Edits: You are not allowed to alter or use artwork for anything outside of the agreed purpose through our mutual emails.

Minors: Minors (17 and under) will be required to fill out a form and have the signature of someone 18+, giving them permission for making transactions and acknowledgement of the purchase as well as its terms.

Discounts: Patrons who support me through Patreon and have access to my monthly 10% off shop code can apply their code to their commission as well! Your name and email will be cross-referenced with my Patreon list to confirm idendity and will be applied to your balance!

Method of Payment

Payment: a nonrefundable 25% of the total cost of the commission must be paid before work can be commenced. Upon finishing will the remaining amount be paid for final work to be given to client.

Accepted Payments: Primary payment is through Paypal or Venmo. Other payment methods may be discussed.

Cancellations: They happen! Just please let me know ahead of time! All deposits are nonrefundable. Upon the event of a cancelation, all project files will not be sent over unless the charge for all completed work is paid by client. Only then will they receive their files without watermark.
